| Meital Hillel was born in Israel where she now designs and creates fine jewellery. Having completed her studies at Neri Blumfield college for design in Haifa, Meital currently has her own studio workshop. The jewellery she designs today is hand-made and produced in limited editions to ensure that her work remains unique. Having worked with silver and copper combined with gold, Meital was captured by the quality and distinction of gold as a substance and consequently blends the gold herself in order to have a specific colour and tone. Living in a resort area, with changing seasons, variable colours of nature and the reflections of light and shadows, Meital has a constant flow of inspiration, along with the art and architecture of the area. The distinguishing characteristic of her work comes from the love and joy she feels in being privileged to design and make jewellery and the passion to create something out of nothing.

| Roman Glass set in Sterling Silver |

Michal Kirat was born in Israel in 1965 and studied at the Technological College for Jewellers in Tel Aviv . Michal's designs are inspired by traditional Yemenite garments and the surrounding fusion of cultures in Israel . The results are unique pieces created with ancient material and designs that are both modern, traditional and simplistic at the same time, the centrepiece of which is colourful and unique shards of Roman glass dating back to the period of the great Roman Empire. At one time this glass was either a pot, perfume bottle, lamp, vase or cup and after hundreds of years of transformation, buried and 'cooked' in the sandy soil of the Middle East, the glass is dramatically changed resulting in a thin iridescent layer of silicia or patina. Each piece of glass goes through its' own change in colour and shape. Once unearthed in this region, the glass is cleaned, carefully sorted and each piece cut separately, ready for the jeweller to create some exquisite pieces.
